CWU Subscription Rates

The CWU subscription system is based on the hours members work.

Retired Members

CWU Rule 11.5.2 contains the following instruction:

"The rate for retired and retired associate members shall increase on 1 January each year by the same percentage increase as the known RPI at the time."

The known rate for RPI was 0.8% therefore in accordance with the rules of the union from 1 January 2016 the membership subscription rates for Retired & Retired Associate Members will be as follows;

Working Members

The NEC took a decision in November 2014 to defer the increase in membership subscriptions due in January 2015. However at the December meeting the NEC in accordance with CWU rule 11.5.1 has decided to increase subscriptions of all members by 2.75%
